Michael Loyd Gray is the author of more than forty published stories and six published novels. His novel The Armageddon Two-Step (2019) won a Book Excellence Award. Hs novel Well Deserved (2008) won the Sol Books Prose Series Prize. Gray is the winner of the 2005 Alligator Juniper Fiction Prize and 2005 The Writers Place Award for Fiction. He earned a MFA from Western Michigan University and lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with two cats and a dozen electric guitars.
