Kathleen Collins is a professor and librarian at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. In addition to two nonfiction books – Watching What We Eat: The Evolution of Television Cooking Shows (Bloomsbury 2009) and Dr. Joyce Brothers: The Founding Mother of TV Psychology (Rowman & Littlefield 2016), she has a recently published memoir, From Rabbit Ears to the Rabbit Hole: A Life with Television (University Press of Mississippi 2021).
